Mr. MARTIN ADJEI

A seasoned internal auditor with over twenty- five years experience in internal auditing at the practice and regulatory level. I have worked with the Internal Audit Agency for the past nineteen years rising through the ranks to a Deputy Director in various sections of the Agency including the operations, training and the internal audit with the key deliverables like assessing compliance by the internal audit units of public sector institutions of procedures and standards set by the Internal Audit Agency and capacity building. The deliverables further include assessing compliance of public sector institutions on financial legislations, good corporate governance and recommendations to the management of the Agency for decision making.

I have served as an audit committee member in various public sector institutions including Ministries, Departments/ Agencies and District Assemblies.

I was seconded to the Ministry of National Security as the Head of Internal Audit and the Director of Internal Audit at Minerals Income and Investment Fund.

I have attended conferences and workshops organized by various professional bodies in accounting, auditing and governance at the national and international levels.

I’m a chartered accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana.
